Kiersten Quick Owner of Quick Accounting Solutions

Kiersten earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Indiana University in 1996.

Kiersten began her Accounting career working as a full charge bookkeeper and since that time has worked for a large insurance company in multiple positions including: Actuarial Reporting, Financial Controls Analyst and Treasury Accounts Manager.

She then made a move to public accounting in 2000.  While working in public accounting Kiersten specialized in small to mid-size business services including:  performing Reviews, Compilations, Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis, Taxes (Corporate, Partnership, Individual, & Personal Property), 401K Audits, Client Consulting, Fixed Asset Maintenance, Solving Complex Accounting issues for small to mid-size clients from planning to completion. Other responsibilities included performing outsource controller functions.

Kiersten formed Quick Accounting Solutions in 2002 as a part-time endeavor while working as a Controller part-time.  She has developed expertise additionally in the following areas:  development of monthly/quarterly financial statements, financial forecasts, budgets, overseeing general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, payroll and cash management, carrying out internal audits to ensure operational efficiency/accuracy, Outsource Controller functions, software setup and employee training, bookkeeping, fixed asset maintenance & clean up, assisting with CPA firm audit preparation, assisting with company start-up, HR & document retention, reconciliations, financial statement preparation & consulting, employee theft reviews, expense reduction consultations, inventory assistance, sales tax, & personal property tax preparation.

During the past several years Kiersten has discovered a special niche for identifying and solving time and money saving accounting related issues.  December of 1998 Kiersten decided to leave her Controller position and focus her full attention on growing the firm to help small businesses to achieve their full potential in these economically challenging times.
